July - Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th Two-day workshop Some experience needed £80 (for two days) Day 1: 10.30am Meet at Crickley Hill Country Park, Crickley Hill, Birdlip, Gloucester GL4 8JY, end time 4pm. Day 2: 10am Brackenwood Plant & Garden Centre, Pill Road BS8 3RA, end time 4pm. Please note: This course is not for those with mobility issues! There is a slow gradient but not too taxing. Day 1: We will meet at Crickley Hill Country Park, Crickley Hill, Birdlip, Gloucester GL4 8JY in the car park at 10.30am armed with sketchbooks, drawing equipment, a blanket to sit on and a camera (mobile) for taking photos. Day one will be spent looking at all the wildflowers and then studying wildflowers of your choice. With my help you will be sketching its habit, noting botany details, measuring parts, making colour swatches and taking lots of photos for reference. I will bring measuring dividers, field magnifying lenses and wild flower books. Bring along a packed lunch, drinks and a blanket to sit on. There is a small cafe at the park too. I will send out a materials list, for each day, to all who are booked nearer the time. Day 2: will be spent at Brackenwood Plant & Garden Centre, Pill Road BS8 3RA, illustrating a study page from our sketch notes and photos. Cafe on site. When arriving at Brackenwood for your workshop, please go straight to the back of the room where you will find a sliding door to the Art Room.

Terms & Conditions JIB workshop bookings Booking policy: Your place is secure once you have paid in full online. Confirmation will be sent via email. Please ensure you fill in all your details when booking a workshop. Cancellation policy: I am unable to offer a refund unless I can rebook your place. In ‘exceptional circumstances’ a refund will be offered, please contact me directly to discuss this. Rules: We are a friendly group and I reserve the right to exclude trouble makers at any workshop. Postponement/Cancellation of workshop policy: If less than 5 students have booked the workshop I reserve the right to postpone or cancel the workshop. If for any reason the workshops needs to be cancelled, I will endeavour to reschedule the course. Should I be unable to reschedule, a refund will be issued to those booked.
